Forum rules

You must agree to the following in order to register

Welcome to the Spooks Information Central forums, the busiest and most bustling Spooks forum on t'internet!

By using this forum, we hope you agree to follow the rules and guidelines listed below to encourage a friendly and useful atmosphere.

Rules

  • 1. Respect other forum members (even if you disagree with their opinion.)
  • 2. Keep posts on-topic, interesting and worthwhile. Useless posts will be deleted.
  • 3. Spoilers go in thread replies, not thread titles.
  • 4. The spoiler tag is to be used on spoilers only. Nothing else.
  • 5. Write and reply in Proper English. txt spk is out!
  • 6. Never engage in or start flame wars.
  • 7. Never attack or make accusations about other members
  • 8. Never post copyrighted content or information about illegal downloading (i.e. torrents)
  • 9. Only one account per person - we can tell if you break this rule!
  • 10. Do not post image spam.
  • 11. Refrain from replying to your own posts.
  • 12. Report posts that you think break any of these rules.
  • If you want to ask a question, use the search function to see if it has been answered already.
  • If you want to start a new thread, use the search function to see if another thread already exists.

Notify the administrator or one of the moderators if you come across posts or behaviour detrimental to the forums. You can do this using the 'Report' button underneath each post.

The Administrator and moderators reserve the right to remove, edit, move or close any thread, for any reason.

Spoilers

Spoilers should only be in thread bodies (never in thread titles), and should include relevant warnings (e.g. "Spoiler ahead!"). This is so members enjoyment of the programme is not spoilt unless they choose to spoil it. This rule is of most importance when a new series is on, as not everyone has Freeview or iPlayer access and have to wait an extra week to watch the next episode.

Images

Avoid posting large images (i.e. bigger than 400x300) or lots of images (i.e. more than 3) - these make the forum slow for other users. Use thumbnails or just URLs for large images. Even better, start your own gallery on a site like Picasa or ImageShack and link to the gallery rather than the images!

Spooks: MI5 not 9 to 5.
