I work in the city and am a big fan of the show. On Friday during my lunch break there was a film crew outside my office. Turned out to be 'Spooks'. I saw the lovely Rupert Penry Jones in the driving seat of a car with that guy who plays the baddie in Robin Hood sitting in the passenger seat!

That definitely proves Armitage is in the next series. Thanks for the confirmation Spoooky and well done HarryFan (I think) for first spotting that reference in the RT article.
I wonder whether he is going to be the replacement for RPJ? I *think* he's filming more Robin Hood in the next few months (EDIT: RH starts filming in May), so I'm not going to take it as absolute just yet. You never know, he could just end up following in the footsteps of Lisa Faulkner and Saskia Reeves

I guess if Jo does make it to series six alive they'll keep any outside filming MR is involved in as secret as possible. What we really need is a surveillance team on the ground in Bermondsey!

Yeh I was thinking that. But how can they possibly keep it secret & under wraps until July/Aug or whenever it is that they finish filming? She must surely be spotted somewhere.

Absolutly true Kate! I loved Adam in series 3 and 4 but at the moment he's so irritating that he even irritated me when I watched ep. 3.9 yesterday

obviously you'll find that Zaf is the best character ( along with Ruth Ros Jo and Harry, and Adam... before he went a bit strange )
I never really watched Robin hood, so i don't really know RA... What are the odds his character is drafted in from six, and turns out to be an old firend of Adam's and Harry's

This is my first post too!
Have watched Spooks from the start, liked both MM and RPJ in their roles BUT now RA has joined the cast (for WHOLE SERIES I HOPE) well I cant wait. He is a wonderful person in Real Life and if you want to see what a great actor he is, then take a look at the BBC1Costume Drama shown in 2004, North and South, based on Elizabeth Gaskell's book.
and... yes he can do all of Spooks Series 7 and appear in next series of RHood as filming starts later in the year for RH3 than the previous two series which both commenced in March.
