According to website thecustard.tv - http://www.thecustard.tv/cominguppage3.html - Series 5 is due to start on Monday 18 September at 9pm. I suppose this could be right as its two weeks after the Series 4 DVD is due out.
I'll wait until its confirmed somewhere else before I get too excited ![]()

Go to bbc.co.uk and then the press office link - Spooks press pack released today. Lots of information and interviews (contains spoilers). No official date but 18th September would seem a good date. Spooks homepage should be updated soon to show new information, etc
Thanks Simon for that information!
*Also, the Spooks site has just been updated. Quite a shame I enjoyed seeing Raza's face when I went on..

After reading that, I'm officially gagging for the new series to start!! Can't wait.
Also, yes, there are a lot of spoilers so spoilerphobes beware.

It really does look great, doesn't it!
The arrival of Ros looks brilliant - she sounds like she'll add some grit and seniority to things.
Harry and Ruth - well I guess we'll all be looking forward to that!

I fear its going to be very emotional! What does Peter Firth say in his interview - it's the end of the road for one of the regulars and Harry is left devastated?
I think a box of tissues might be needed!
Also, the 2 part opener sounds awesome. All I need is some trailers on the BBC and I'll be happy.

That will be good if Spooks is back on on a Monday night
I always prefered it on a monday.
At last some quality TV programming will soon be broadcast into our homes. Spooks rocks and it is good to hear that a 6th series has been commissioned.
Great site by the way. It is the most popular place to come now the BBC closed down their drama messageboards. Such a hive of activity those boards were after each spooks episode finished. Must have been one of the most popular sections of the boards. But the BBC decided to pull it at least someone has kindly spent there time setting up a place for all us spooks fans.... well done.
Also cant wait until the DVD and books come out. I will try to get them as soon as they are released.
Anyway i'll be counting down the minuted now until Spooks is back.

Hey Dan, nice to hear from you.
Have you ordered the DVD yet? I pre-ordered mine from Play this week. Fingers crossed they'll send it out before the release date. It's nice to get it a couple of days before it appears in the shops.

A new series of Dalziel and Pascoe starts on Sunday 3rd September. As usual it consists of two-part stories. There is definitely a second story running on Sunday 10th and Monday 11th September at 9 pm. Since previous series have had 4 or 5 stories it seems likely that story 3 will be on Sunday 17th and Monday 18th. So when will Spooks start?

Can someone please help me. I've just got the Series Two DVD of Spooks, all I want to do is watch the episodes but when I select to watch them i get the commentary on just about everything. Just want to watch spooks. What am I doing wrong.......
You should click on/select the stack of CDs (in the centre, left of the monitor) on the desktop to play the episodes. You will then have a choice of an upper or a lower one (first or second episode on the DVD).

I noticed that too about Dalziel and Pascoe. However, I'm pretty sure there was a longer series of this on earlier in the year March / April time so I'm kind of hoping that there's only going to be two stories in this series. As the first two episodes of Spooks is a two parter - same as last year - I can't see any other day they can show it apart from Monday / Tuesday.

GCSE results... thanks Ollie, am I right in thinking that you are also a teeny bopper...did you get your results??
OMG I was totally blown away by the synopsis for the new series... episodes one and two... how will Ruth react when she finds out Harry is facing excecution!!!??? I looks set to be a white knuckle two hours!! I am SOOOOO excited now!! Typical spooks though... MI6 are always the baddies and are the baddies more than ever in these episodes!!!! ![]()
Peter Firth's reference to Harry being left devastated at the departure of a colleague... I am assuming that this is Ruth which means she leaves in episode 5..... bring on the tissues!!! ![]()
Jo bashing....
They put Jo in charge of protecting the Prime Minister's son... hehe... I'm surprised he survives the episode!! ![]()

i'm sooooooooo excited that info has made me desperate!

SInce when were MI6 supposed to be the baddies?
That has just annoyed me. I can just about handle the JIC Chair being against them, but MI5's big sister?
They'd better play it right, other wise I know one heck of a lot of people who'll be less than happy- and will be happy to show Kudos what they think.
