Let's see if we can perplex, puzzle and bemuse Kudos so much that they write Ruth back into the series!!
Post on this thread when you've sent one and from where...
No names...no return addresses...nice cryptic one liners...like an ad campaign - grab their attention.
The more bizaare the picture on the postcard and the place it's sent from the better...

At the very least we'd make them laugh like crazy if they get a postcard or two a week for the next year!!
I'm going to send the first one tomorrow from the Peak District with "Harry, prove me innocent...R" on it.
p.s. remember not to lick the stamp...they can do amazing things with DNA tracing now days
My signature is getting too long so here's a list of locations Ruth has posted from:
Leek, London, Birmingham, Nottingham, Las Vegas, Cornwall, Liverpool, Oxford, Arizona, Salisbury, LA, Boston, Brighton, Florence, Bath, Pisa, Derby, Holland, Highlands, Singapore, Durham, Cheshire, Newcastle, Hartlepool, Bristol, Roswell, Cardiff, Belgium, El Paso, Cheltenham, MK, Aliso Viejo, Cornwall, Sheffield, Arizona, Caerphilly, Manchester, Tring, San Diego, Netherlands, Burnham, Thorpe, Dorking, HK, Heathrow, Korea, Stratford, Glasgow, Venice, Bankok, Switzerland, China, Cape Town, Taiwan, French Alps, Sierra Nevada, Saigon, Vancouver....

Ummm... just a thought with the address thing - might not want to have the word "Terrorism" in it if sending from more sensitive countries, I'm going to try and start with Indonesia and... well... it made me pause and wonder about that word. How about "Thames House" or "Head - Section D" instead?

Sounds like a good idea Too Spooked, I hadn't thought about that. I'll put Section D on mine.

What if Nicola Walker doesn't want to come back? Kudos would probably like to continue her storyline but if she doesn't want to come back then there's nothing they can do.
Very noble and ingenious idea though.

Great idea!! Now I need to buy a ton of postcards

I'm going to have fun choosing ones that I think Ruth might choose to send to Harry!

I think my first one should have cats on it lol

I dont get out of London much - so I'll have to rely on the rest of you's to send them from the far off exotic locations - but I think its a brilliantly funny idea - Im sure it will keep the Kudos team smiling for a while ![]()

Doesn't have to be anywhere exotic! You can still send them!
I'm going to email a couple of friends abroad (they'll see the funny side of it and pop a couple in the post for me lol)

I should get Kassy to do one from America lol

Afraid I'm not going to any of those wonderful cities Harry mentioned on their date, but then Ruth wouldn't want to be obvious so there's one from the midlands going to be winging its way soon.
It makes me smile anyway.

Right then! First one sent:
black and white pic of paris subway station
"Harry, prove me innocent. Rx"
(but sent from the peak district lol).
The fun begins...
(please don't let me be the ONLY one mad enough to do this!)

I would love to do a spook card - peeling back the picture to reveal a hidden message. Wracked my brains trying to work out how to do it. Any ideas on how to put it together?

I'm going to do one I think but I will have to get a decent postcard first.

LOL - great idea. I'll pop a couple in the post today from Cornwall.
Now I have to go think up a one-liner...

Just pick something really bizaare - like when I was in Birmingham last week, they had the oddest old postcards of the concrete shopping centre (the bullring)!! I think the more mundane and strange the better!
The aim is long term - if one or two arrive per week from all over the place, it will bemuse them so much they might actually consider bringing Ruth back!

Actually just thinking about it some more - I can badger a few friends in various locations in the US, Australia and NewZealand to post the odd card.
Bribery usually works well.

by the way, I just listened to the audio commentry on season 4 ep 9 and I think it was the producer said he'd been on the net looking at a fan forum discussion on a particular episode (was it this message board??heheheh) ...so they do look at what the fans say and think and it does affect them....

Sounds great Meegat - I was thinking the same...got friends all over the US, Europe and as far flung as the Cayman Islands....great potential for REALLY confusing the people at Kudos.

As they won't have a clue what I'm on about I'll ask them to put the same thing on their cards. The "Harry, prove me innocent, R" seems a nice one.

My internet mates will think its hillarious - they are all tv obsessed too but mostly with stuff like Babylon 5 and Star Trek (i.e. they are male lol). I know that they'll really like the concept of such a postcard campaign from one character to another....

I did wonder if it was this forum because this is definitely the best Spooks one. I think its the only one which is "active". So, everybody on their best behaviour - you never know who might be watching ![]()
