I'm on the 9th episode of Season 2 right now. This is the start of the downfall of Tom Quinn.
I wonder though. I know they didn't really make the connection, but I wonder if Tom just snapped during that exercise they ran where everyone was locked down in Thames House and they thought VX was let loose outside.
The look on his face when he had the gun on those people trying to escape, was scary. And even when Harry came out and everyone realized it was an exercise, I couldn't help but realize that Tom really just seemed to have gone off the deep end.
I always thought it would have been better if that episode preceded the final two, so there was some kind of seamless transition to ADD to all the crap he went through that led him to do what he did.
Maybe that's just me though. lol

Yes that particular episode, "I Spy Apocalypse" is my favourite from series 2, I just loved the twist at the end with the 2 extra spooks being in on the exercise. Quite scary thinking about Tom and Zoe (Bless her) actually contemplating shooting them. Harry getting contaminated from the loo...ahhh may have to go and put the dvd in and re watch again...

I don't think Zoe could ever have shot them, especially after how much she went to pieces in 3.05

I literally *just* finished re-watching "I Spy Apocalypse". And yeah, Tom was never the same after that episode.

I am more of a fan of the seasons where Adam was the lead 'spook' but I spy apocalypse was absolutely briliant!
Am also rewatching some old eps. just finished season 3.
