Code 9 find out that Harry is alive and well. Knowing there is a traitor amongst Code 9 Harry has the whole team executed within 10 minutes of episode 1
Harry then finds out there wan't really a bomb that wiped out Thames House it was a cover up and everything is back to normal and Harry leads Section D again.

I don't think they'll retcon code 9 if spooks runs so long it becomes an issue. They'll probably just move the entire team to manchester or something, perhaps killing off someone in the bomb.

please kudos gods...pleeeeeeeease don't waste your money on a series 2. Mr Abbott is only joking (i think) and he really doesn't want another one. knowing Kudos, even if all the characters are off'd in the first ep they would just replace all with new more shallow ones with the personality of a wet fish

I hope they do not make a second season of this. I never watched the first season as so many people told me it was absolute cr*p and not to waste time watching it. I would rather be secure in the knowledge there is definitely going to be an 8th series of Spooks.

Since it seems pretty clear that another series of this won't get commision, there's two options to keep Spooks running normally -
1. State in media (or otherwise) that Code 9 was an alternative history to the regular Spooks canon, and thus does not affect it.
2. Completely disregard everything that happened in Code 9 and keep on going, giving the spin-off the level of respect it deserves 
Alternatively, they could integrate the two storylines and have the post-apocolyptic thing handled properly, losing the topical edge that defines Spooks. Personally, I advocate Tring for whoever wrote Code 9.

Personally I weouldn't kill all of them.
Vik could be returned to society as he is entirely innocuous
Jez gets off citing previous role in Spooks as mitigation
Charlie - could be confined in a cell as Malcolm's assistant
Rob is actually not bad
Kylie - is transferred to proper spooks under clauses 'eyecandy' and 'some acting ability'
Rachel - is put in a secure iron box, then dropped into the nearest lake. Obviously without a metal box she would of course float....in which case we should burn her, like a duck.

Tom in episode 4
Rachel got killed, albeit 5 or 6 episodes too late

I didn't know where to post this but I found a vid of Georgia Moffet signing autographs for her fans and about 0:55 seconds a man says to her that he wishes there was a second season of Code 9, and she replys that he must be the only person who does..
I just thought it was funny to see her commenting on the failure of the show
