We in London will be warming up to the mighty heights of 7 degrees C at the weekend according to the Met Office.
I love snow but it's a little boring now, would like colour back!!

Very thin snow all day resulted in a thin covering as temps drop tonight. We rarely get the bad weather the rest of the country gets. And once again it seems to have been much worse everywhere else.
Yes, Nia. Zero Celsius = 32 Fahrenheit

Snow? Boring? Are you insane? I love it, can't get enough. I think it's beautiful (except for when I'm in a rush and I'm skidding everywhere, then I'll admit it can get annoying). But what other weather can you sledge on, make funny people out of, and throw at each other?
Ok, calming down now. Snow makes me v hyper. ![]()

Its good to see the temp go above 30 for once! That would be 30 degrees Farenheit for our British friends!
Our weather is never in farenheit anymore so we're all celcius peeps over here. I just wish they'd hurry up and get rid of miles and use kilometres full-time.

It will be up in the 40's Fahrenheit over the next few days heat and into next week wave!!! So I am happy and so will be my knees that are not liking this cold this winter.

Tallulah, you're obviously not familiar with some of the midlands' "Fahrenheit martyrs" - to be found spewing vitriol in many a rustic pub.
They frighten me...

I thought my mum was the only one left who uses fahrenheit. ![]()

I love snow! Unfortunately most of it is gone from here now, well in the centre of town anyway.
I use celsius but still use miles for distances, stuck between the two systems!!

We got another light layer of snow this morning, enough to make the nearby steps difficult to get UP this evening and to make me leave a whole ten minutes earlier for lectures!

I love snow too, but where I live our winters just have small frosts. These days we have been having 30 - 40 degrees C and on these days, I'd wish that I was over your way (I hate the heat).

I hate the heat too. But they say it's getting warmer year by year here in the UK... time will tell.
All thawed out here. Don't know about the rest of the country, though...

Well I can see the grass for the first time in over a week, but there's still a smidge left. It's melting though ![]()

There's rain here which has made the snow transparent in patches. You think it's just grass, then go to step on it and slip a mile as you realise it's snowy sludge. It keeps of dripping off the roof in big bangs.

I had about 10 flakes and that was it ![]()

Same here. Barely noticeable.

Plenty of snow here too first thing this morning, which is thankfully melting. Even more at work. I was greeted by an airport snow plough as I left the motorway this morning. And when I say left the motorway, it was at an official exit. I didn't crash up the verge or anything. ![]()

I woke up to what I thought was snow but it turned out to be the result of a hail shower. Soon melted, too.

Covered in a blizzard!!! Been snowing since Friday morning around 9:40am and will continue until tonight. If anyone sees on the news about DC being covered in snow think of those of us here on the forum that are in this white mess. I'm not going outside. Just took pic's. Still don't want to think about digging out my car.

Gosh yes I heard about this blizzard! It's supposed to be hitting Britain some time next week, but for the mean time, make the most of it cbjfan44! Wrap up warmly and drink hot Ribena ![]()

Final total for my area just west of DC. 24 inches of snow (or 61 cm or .6096m or 2 feet of snow) Went to dig my car out thankfully someone started to dig out their cars parked next to mine. Hope they can plow us out. Expecting to get more snow on Tue. Apparently this is the worse this whole area has seen since the mid 90's. Everyone is shut down until Monday pretty much. Having some cabin fever right now.
