A similar thought flitted through my mind, and this is a lovely way of expressing it.
Thank you! I rather liked it myself (she said immodestly). Can you imagine the look of disdain and contempt on Ros's face if she were to hear it? ![]()

I rewatched S1 myself very recently.

I think the whole series is superb. Brilliant writing, outstanding acting, and very addictive to watch. And as I recall, HN had just about stolen the show by about the end of series 3. I'm about to go into hospital for foot surgery, and I intend to spend much of my 2 weeks convalescence with my leg up on the sofa watching Cold Feet and Spooks all over again!

Good luck with the surgery and happy viewing. I've also rewatched Spooks S5 eps 1-7 since Christmas. Hermione is very addictive. ![]()

Thank you! I'm hoping not too many people ring me up while I'm hobbling round the flat on my crutches to ask "What are you doing, Rose?" I'm not sure I could resist the temptation to answer 'Rehearsing for a part in Riverdance' ... ![]()

I've found that Ros' one-liners are actually very good in real life. I don't do it intentionally but they slip out occasionally.
"She won't serve me!"
"Started to understand how the cat's mother felt here."
See? Perfect. ![]()

In Australia at the moment they are about half way through series 2 of cold feet, before watching it now, i have never seen it.. I have fallen in love with it completly!
I love HN's laugh, I wish they could have an oppotunity to use it in spooks! hahahah ![]()

What channel is Cold Feet on?! Free-to-air channels?
It doesn't matter for me as I own the box set, but it's really on? How the hell have I missed it?

It's on Sunday nights at 9:30 on ABC2, you can watch them on iview as well if you miss them...

Cheers!
I have started a semi-maybe-daily picspam Spooks thing where (you guessed it) Ros is prominent. Basically, favourite moments and scenes are on there.

There are spoilers, though those posts are marked.
Enjoy!

Ep. 3 of S1 that was just too much all around. Then in ep. 4 when she is reading the book in bed to edit. LOL!!!

I also loved the one where the accountant comes round to discuss David's failed investment in the African golf course.
Accountant: Isn't your golf course under water, old boy?
Karen (very quietly): And Marxist.
Her laugh is so infectious that I can never watch that scene without laughing with her. And Robert Bathurst's hangdog expression is wonderful. They worked so well together.

Did anyone see the new cast list on Ian While's blog? The link is on spooky_doings in livejournal.
Hermione's name wasn't mentioned; it's not looking good for Ros returning. ![]()

It was never really going to happen, was it? ![]()
I'm wanting official confirmation of HN in Outcasts and what her role will be.
And ITV issued their spring/summer show list yesterday and Bouquet of Barbed Wire is not listed. So it may have been put back until the autumn.
