Did anyone watch this? I have sky + it but was wondering if it was any good.

I watched it - thought it was pretty good! ![]()

I finally watched it last night.. Loved it! Miranda was great, it's funny to see her with such long hair ![]()

Do you think she looks better with long or short hair? Personally, I prefer the MSO hairstyle to the short Spooks haristyle, but I preferred the short Spooks hairstyle to the long Spooks hairstyle ![]()

I really like her hair when it was short shoulder length (if you know what I mean!).
Is MSO on any kind of on demand service? Hubby flatly refused to let me watch it ("so let me get this straight - you want to watch this programme simply because one of the actresses in it *used* to be in Spooks? bah humbug." well he didn't actually say the last two words -but the look on his face....)
so - can I see it on anything iplayer ish?

There's ITV player, but I think it only works in the UK, so if you're outside the UK then I doubt you'll find it anywhere. To my knowledge, it's not on YouTube (yet).

^^ that's the link, and for me, MSO came up on the main page. Hope it works for you!

Sounds possible, but perhaps he'd be more inclined if you point him at Miranda as "Tallulah" - or as Jo in the black dress from 6.1....

It's repeated today on ITV2 at 11:15pm according to here

I've just watched this for the first time, and I think it might also be for the last. I may just be too demanding, but it was cringingly predictable, and most of the characters seemed like cardboard cut-outs. No depth at all.
I agree Miranda Raison looks very pretty dressed up in something that isn't jeans and a bomber jacket, but this role is not going to stretch her very far. Pity ...

And that's the problem with basing it on Cold Feet, they've ended up with a product of a similar quality. They should have done their own thing & it would have been much superior.

Yes, it's never a good idea to try and copy something. I doubt there are many writers around with the talent of Mike Bullen. Mr Souter has a long way to go to catch up. And I don't think the actors here can hold a candle to the cast of Cold Feet - although that's a subjective, personal judgement, of course.
This is billed as a comedy-drama, but to be honest, the closest I came to a smile was when I was wincing with embarrassment. Shame ...

I'm still sticking with this show due to Miranda being in it. Of course when she is on screen. I am hoping that we will see more of her now that she was leaving Spooks. I am not even going to compare this show to Cold Feet. As I am just starting into s2 of Cold Feet. I see them separate.

Nor am I. I made one final attempt last night. Oh dear. ![]()

C'mon Tang, you know you love it. You were just saying the other day what good quality drama it was, how great the writing is & how brilliantly scripted and acted it was. ![]()

Yes, well, you were threatening to hurt my family at the time.. ![]()
In all seriousness, last night's was horribly sad and it's going to get more so.
But I wouldn't be too surprised to see another series of Married Single Other be commissioned by ITV despite everything. The ratings haven't been that good, but it's been fairly stable recently and I think it probably attracts a young audience (apart from you, of course
)

I've only seen the first ten minutes or so of last night's ep, but I did rather enjoy Gina's winding up of her mum ![]()

I missed it this week. What happened with Lilly?? (Lucy Davis' character)

She apparently has a brain tumour. Fantastic acting by Shaun Dooley and Lucy Davis.

Thanks for that. I did wonder but somebody #ahem# turned the sky+ off too soon and it failed to record. They have some really good actors in this.

Have to agree with Tallulah, Shaun Dooley and Lucy Davis were both very, very good. It was horrible, though. I may have already said that.. ![]()

Yep, another vote here for Shaun Dooley and Lucy Davis - they were both excellent. Best ep so far I thought. ![]()

I think there will be a series 2. I think its brave to write such a story line so early in a new series.
